Ole Rongai FC invite Ajax Youth FC in their rescheduled week 9 match.
One Sportpesa Super 8 Premier League match pitting basement sides Ole Rongai FC and Ajax Youth FC which had been postponed will be played on Saturday 17 June at Nazareen grounds, Rongai from 3PM.
The rescheduled week 9 duel which was slated to be played on Saturday 29 April had to be postponed to the current date following a heavy down pour that rendered the same venue unplayable.
This will be their 15th round match as the rest of the clubs have already played theirs and have taken the three week mid-season break beginning last Saturday 10 June until Saturday 1 July when the second leg commences.
Both sides have had a rocky season punctuated by horrific performance which has left them languish the foot of the 16-team log. Tied on a mere six points each, Ole Rongai who will be the hosts, sit above Ajax courtesy of a greater goal difference at position 15th on the log while the visitors are perched at the bottom.
The match promises to be an interesting one as both clubs who come from the same neighbouring area in Rongai will renew their rivalry.
In 14 games both side have coincidently picked just one win and drawn three times with Ole Rongai having lost 10 times compared to bottom placed Ajax who have lost 9 matches.
At the same time the three remaining matches in the second divison, the Sportpesa Super 8 Division One League will also be played on Saturday.
