Recent SPS8 PL action between Kawangware United and Zamalek FC at City Stadium.

Second leg of the Sportpesa Super 8 Premier League will begin on the weekend of 1 and 2 July with seven matches set to kick-start the final 15 rounds of the competition.

 

After a three week mid-season break, participating teams once again forge their arsenal in readiness for the potential bruising East vs West conference title assault.

Two matches will be played on Saturday where leaders Kawangware United tackle Macmillan FC at BP grounds as Kayole Asubuhi invite MASA while the rest of the five  matches including the weekend highlight pitting Meltah Kabiria and Jericho FC slated to be played on Sunday as the competition marks round 16.

KAWANGWARE UNITED VS MACMILLAN FC (3PM)
Leaders Kawangware United will be hoping to continue with their title charge when they face off with Macmillan FC at Kawangware Riruta Stadium BP. Kawangware sit at the top of the standings with 36 points, five clear of closest challengers NYSA while Macmillan occupy 14th with 10 points from one win and 7 draws.

KAYOLE ASUBUHI FC VS MASA (3PM)
Top scorer Tony Okello will lead MASA’s hunt for the first three points of the second leg when they travel to Calvary grounds to tackle cup holders Kayole Asubuhi FC on Saturday 1 July.
Okelllo who pumped in 12 goals to steer his side to 7th place with 24 points in the first leg will be keen to pick up from where he left when they take on Asubuhi who sit two places above them at 5th with 26 points.

TUK FC VS AJAX YOUTH (3PM)
After a blip form in the first leg, 2015 champions TUK FC take on weaklings Ajax Youth FC at CID grounds hoping to continue with their surge up the log. TUK sit 6th on the log with 25 points after picking 7 wins and 4 draws in the first leg while Ajax are rooted at the base end of the log with 6 points from one win and three draws.

OLE RONGAI FC VS METRO SPORTS FC (3PM)
Underperforming Ole Ronga FC who sit second from below with a paltry 9 points welcome Metro Sports FC at Nazarene grounds looking to turn around their fortunes in the final leg. Metro lie 9th place on 21 points.

ZAMALEK FC VS KIAMBIU YOUTH FC (3PM)
At Drive Inn grounds, newly promoted Zamalek FC will be pumped up when they clash with Kiambiu Youth FC as they seek to build on their impressive first leg performance which saw them climb up to 3rd on the log with 29 points. They will be locking horns with Raul Gonzales Kiambiu who are placed 13t with 11 points.

TEAM UMEME VS SHAURI MOYO BLUE STARS FC (3PM)
At the same time in Ziwani sports grounds, Team Umeme currently occupying 11th with 19 points square it out with visiting Shauri Moyo Blue Stars FC. Newbies Umeme have won 5, drawn 4 and lost 6 times in the first leg and will be looking to climb up the log against Blue Stars who sit 12th with 16 points.
